Now we're talking proper maps for Battlefield. Dice is touting this map as the largest ever (at least since BF2).

That is a lot of vehicles. Should be interesting.

The AC-130 will be an interesting dynamic as long as its not over-powered. At least it doesn't look like it does the wall hack that CoD:BO did with this.

I'm looking forward to it.

Looks promising. My only fear is that the flags will be clustered again, so that we'll end up using only 1/3 of the map (Caspian/Kharg anyone?).

reminds me of the B17 in BF1942 or the C-130 in Desert Combat.

like mentioned above, lets hope they spread the flags out across the "whole" map

Black Ops is a game with pretty well balanced weapons and killstreaks. You are probably thinking of the AC130 in MW2. I'm not sure if its in MW3.

Anyone remember "Heavy Metal" on Bc2? rc_nvg

Sounded good on paper, but did not lend to quality gameplay. Bigger is not always better.

Since I don't have MW2 / MW3 I wasn't thinking of that. I was more thinking of the chopper gunner and similar kill streaks in cod:bo. I didn't have to actually see the enemy to shoot them as it put a hit box around them.

Net / net - I am against kill streaks as it turns the focus to kdr instead of the objective.

Agreed on the nonsense that killstreaks are. This is why I enjoy playing that game in particular so much in matches with killstreaks/perks disabled. I still think in terms of public play, it's a vast improvement to the mw2/3 games though.

Not sure how long video will stay up - but supposedly got leaked today & looks very cool IMO..:p

edit: other vid was cut down a lil size wise

Edit #2: evidently it's another "Premium Only" exclusive and can be seen in that EA section. Would think EA needs to preach to those who don't own premium as well as those who already do - but hey, that's just me...lol

The video is an exclusive trailer with never before seen footage from Armored Kill. It is available on Battlelog in the Premium video section. Armored Kill is available for PS3 Premium members on September 4, and for PC+Xbox 360 Premium members on September 11.

Looks great, liked the first map the best, followed by bandar dessert. Glad to see they are getting more creative with map geography.
