Well after this statement by Vince Zampella and Jason West ..

basically singling out PC gamers as pirates and one of the reasons for this move they have made with MW2....

are you ready for this....

Now it appears the first pirated copy of the MW2 title looks like it has hit the torrent sites and heres the kicker..Its for the XBOX360..

Yup you heard it right..not for the PC but for IW's beloved Xbox whom they have poured their heart and soul into after getting tight for this release with Microsoft.

I erased the little pirates website he had scrolled on the paper since i proudly have never pirated a single game and never will and wont help these idiots do it either. No matter how much i hate IW .

Its apparent he has already uploaded the torrent (or so he has eluded to) ...I NEVER condone piracy in any form..but damn this is funny if this is the truth.

Theres piracy on all platforms. They just highlight it more on PC for an excuse to not support the platform.

What really gets their goat is the PS and XBox stuff is cracked and distributed by PC. You would think that the distributors would get this type of thing sorted. For the game to be out in the wild now means that someone within the industry has screwed up.

Like the movies copied that come from industry insiders judging the Oscar's. Heck Oscar judges pirating movies!!!

Stop looking at us when you can't trust your own employees!

Get your own house in order before you criticize us for using the same technology your employees are using to pirating your product!

Anyone notice the piece of paper its on looks like the back of a receipt?

Has some kind of back to front R with a star for the hole in the R... anyone know what store/shop that is

Another thing i`ve noticed (or thought about)

Look at the length of the receipt, thats doesn`t look like a purchase sized receipt but rather a bit of blank receipt roll thats been ripped off to be written on.

Then take a look at the floor tiling.. ever known anyone to have such ugly 'store staff room' style floor tiles in their house?

IMHO this has been taken by an employee of Toys 'R' Us in a hurry from a stock they have in store and the person who took the photo doesn`t actually have the console or game in their possession. Couple that with the fact their advertising a website.. good way of pushing some traffic to said site.

Could be wrong, but food for thought ^^

There are a few bad rips of the game all over torrent sites, I've been following it really closely, basically at the moment you can download one of the (bad) rips, play it, but you would get banned on an xbox used for live, there hasn't been a proper rip as of yet. I'm not sure if these pictures are real or not, but there are leaked copies of the game on the internet.

look two birds with one stone,

1st - IW looks like a fool for blaming the PC platform for piracy but I have a feeling they will play this as "What do you expect people love our game......."

2nd - pirate get their xbox and or XBL accounts banned for trying this.

But hey lets cannibalize the PC platform can't wait to see all the

reviews :hand:

The amount of live streams of cracked games on the xbox right now is astounding, the whole front page of the MW2 forums are just covered in live streams.

Iw really has done everything wrong here, and its amazing to watch a company people once held as the standard, fall to nothing more then a petty money grab.

It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside to watch the guys IW catered to so much burn them so hard by turning arround and pirating the game. While us PC users just sit quietly, waiting for whatever come around next, laughing, because in the end, Every PC gamer was right and IW was wrong.

lets face it they are basing the cracked copy's played on pc around the 1 time players who play single player. 60/40 i read somewhere so 60% play a cracked single player the 40% they lose who used to support them. Pretty much lost any support from me, Good ridacnce in my opinion and cant wait to see the ideas they put forward for the next realeases (on any platform) without the pc input. I sure wont be touching them.
