How do I change map and use rcon?

Well I fixed my other problem, but how do I change map in game, what's the command? How do I use rcon. I type /rcon and it says it's an invalid command. And also how do I bring the console up while in a game?

So yeah basically, what is the rcon command, and how do I change map in game.

Hit the tilde key when your in game this will bring down the console. Once there you must login. /rcon password Were password is you must enter your password that you set in your config file. To change the map type /rcon map_rotate this will change to the next map in your rotation. Hope this helps.

P.S. the tilde key is the funny little line button near the number 1

login: /rcon login "password"

change to next map in rotation: /rcon map_rotate

change to "map1": /rcon map "map1" (mp_carentan; mp_rhine; etc...)

I can't get into the console when I'm in the actual game playing though. Only at the menu.

How do I get into it when I'm in a game?

Edit: Never mind, found it out. I had to change a line in my config. Thanks alot guys.

Oh and one more thing, is there a way I can change the game type with an rcon command?

/rcon g_gametype dm (can be tdm, sd, dm, etc... )
then
/rcon map_restart
