Days of War lands in Steam Early Access!

Days of War Lands in Early Access
JANUARY 26 - DRIVEN ARTS
Days of War is now available on Early Access. Along with this major milestone we have an exciting announcement:

100 Player Battle Events!

We love tight competitive gameplay more than anyone, but World War 2 was defined by its massive battles and invasions, and we want to bring that experience to Days of War with 100 player combat.

The first 100 Player Battle Event will take place from Feb 3rd - 5th, where we will have 100 players storming Omaha beach. To participate all you need to do is look for one the official Driven Arts servers that weekend.

These 100 player battles will initially be offered as planned events so we can fine-tune the details and performance. Once all is going well, we will be raising the server cap from 32 to 100 so you can host your own as well.

To celebrate the event, we're giving away 100 copies of the game, follow us on Facebook and Twitter for more info on how to enter.

Come join the fight!

The more WWII shooters the better as far as I'm concerned. I'm still playing Day of Defeat from time to time and Day of Infamy is so very good. Fingers crossed this one will also bring some proper WWII shooter game play. As a Day of Defeat player I did notice that some of the maps looked awfully familiar.

I seen that.

Last Friday Valve had them remove the map THUNDER.

After reading up on the removal of THUNDER, it was 1:1 remake from another map.

Overall I am liking Days of War, but really wish there was more interest in it from players in North America. Seems as though the only servers that have high population (or any for that matter) is in Europe or Australia, which means 200+ pings for me. No thanks...

I do like the breath of fresh air with a World War II game and do like the idea that I don't have to put a full clip into somebody to kill them...

The Omaha Beach map was the most fun I have had playing Omaha Beach since MOHAA days.

I just really wish that there was S&D for competitive matches is all...

Last, I think I am still looking more forward to Battalion 1944 though.
