Http redirect issue CODWAW

Im having an issue getting the maps and mods to download off our website. If you go directly to the file through any browser you get the option to open or save. But when you go in game and click server if starts to go to the website download but then kicks over to the usermaps or mods folder on the server. Is there something I need to put in the .htaccess file or any place else?

if the web url is fpsadmin.com try https://www.fpsadmin.com.

Reason I ask is, I was just listening to a security pod cast and they where doing something similar (not game related) but because the server was running https it would not pass the header to a non secure connection thus the download would not work. could be the same issue you're having.

I used to deal with all these problems but it was so long ago I just can't remember all the little tricks. I do remember that redirects were a hassle.

What is the directory you're using?

Whats weird is you can get the maps or mods in your browser with no issue. But its like the game doesnt see it when it searches for it so it kicks right over to the usermaps or mods folder on server
