Banning one player bans all players?

On CoD World At War, when I use the ingame rcon or any outside rcon tool to ban one person, no one can join the server anymore and they are greeted with this message "You are permanently banned from this server". This didn't happen on CoD4 but on WaW, I do /rcon banclient 2 (for example) and ban one person from the server. Next thing I know, I can't join our own server and no one else can either. We have been at it all day to find out what is different in WaW that keeps causing this problem. Ban one person bans all future players - weird I am at with a "game server" if that helps

I never heard of such a problem.

I would delete all the server files and re-install from scratch. Something is corrupted in your files in my opinion.

Also look at your ban.txt file and check what's written in there. There should only be the ones that you purposely banned.

He he he

If your server is cracked, cracked Client IDS are the same in most cases. Banning one of them, means banning almost all of them.

Migrate to an original server if this is your case. If not, I can't imagine why is this happening.
