Matching TS/Vent with BFBC2 teams over split channels

Hi,

I have been dreaming about this for a long time. My current gripe is with BFBC2 but you can say the same about every other online team-based shooter out there.

There should be a way to support team-split channels in TS or Ventrilo or whatever, based on the teams on the server. At least something simple like exact handle matching, if not IP addresses.

I think all we would need is a modification of an admin tool as well as a TS/Vent plugin, or a server-side plugin as well as a TS/Vent plugin.

Shouldn't be all that hard to create IMO, although I am no programmer.

Does anyone know if anything like that exists?

Hi.

Well, i guess you should take a look at Procon and the "Teamspeak 3 Sync" plug-in. With it it sorts the players in the server in the teamchannels on
the TS server. But players have to use their soldier names as ts nicks.

Procon: www.phogue.net
TS plug-in: http://www.phogue.net/forumvb/showth...amspeak-3-Sync
