Tannenberg WWI FPS stand along game not by EA

Was checking out PCgamer and came across a game called Tannenberg.

A developer I've never heard of, M2H and Blackmill Games released a First World War multiplayer game in 2015 called Verdun. With EA's Battlefield 1's popularity at the time. More people took note of Verdun to now warrant a stand alone expansion of the game. Still set in WWI, the game features a 64 player multiplayer mode with lots of realism (my kind of game). Check out the video below and to read more, jump on over to PCGamer to read their full article.

I have play Vurdun, it's quite brutal. I couldn't get the guys in my clan to play. Not quite the weekend warriors game.

It's about as far away from run and gun as you can get. It's no arcade shooter. That said once you get your mindset right it's great fun. the sense of achievement is great.

I would never tell someone to not buy the game, but if you are expecting something like BF1 you might find it quite challenging.

On sale for 8 bucks. Good dev support. 444 players max. All classic server features. Brutal but it creates great moments. Lol I have a whopping 2 hours in. My son plays and the game has progressed nicely and even the graphics improved.
