I just hope they don't mess this up... who am I kidding. I really need a good AAA WWII game right now.

Not pre ordering but will keep a close eye on this one.

As I’m a big BF fan I watched the reveal live including the trailer. The trailer seemed to me the opposite of everything I like in a game and the opposite of the realism that Battlefield has long stood for. When people reacted negatively to the woman with the metal arm as not being realistic, people at Dice accused the community of being anti-feminist. Not a good start.

Long trusted members of the community (eg jackFrags) have weighed in saying the game is actually pretty good despite the ridiculous trailer and Dices poor handling.

I suspect BF has jumped the shark. I am taking a very skeptical approach to the game and will need to have my mind changed before I buy. This is from someone who has pre-purchased the last 5 releases of BF.

Let's see how much it costs, I can't see EA has turned over a new leaf. They are still the money-grubbing buggers we all know too well. They have said no to loot crates, no to premium, no to paying for new maps. This is going to cost $80 plus I bet. Something essential is going to cost cold hard cash to get any enjoyment out of this game.

EA has spoken about wanting "games as a service" how about a monthly subscription? There is going to be something, this is EA after all. What if you can only play if you subscribe to Origin Access? EA doesn't do anything out of the goodness of its heart, only cold hard cash...

Don't preorder, Don't buy until you have seen real gameplay reviews from people you trust. Basically, don't believe the hype.

$60 for standard, per usual

We know that the trailer is not from IN GAME action. Check out the intro comments and at the 12 minute mark
