Honestly that didn't impress me at all.
Hell thought it was another CoD when I saw the character that reminded me of Captain Price |

I'm not sure what you guys are expecting, it's a modern combat small map first person shooter? The best we can hope for is that they don't mess it up! Tight, fast, game play, with a limited amount of bugs and no show stoppers.
It would be nice if they have a different slant of rewards that influence game play from the other games. CoD has become a kill streak specialist. Battlefield is more about team work. MoH:2010 showed a different slant by rewarding objective based play. You got more points for objectives than kills. The rewards could be used to kill the other team or to help your own. I would like to think that they will continue along this path with Warfighter. Obviously kills are important, after all it's a shooter. I really did like the way MoH:2010 encouraged objective game play with it's reward system. |

All I've really seen in modern military fps games over the last few years is better graphics. Destruction was done way back in 2001 in Red Faction. It's new to Battlefield and MoH etc but not new to me. I want a game that focuses on the core gameplay not unlocks and graphics. I want something new for once but I doubt I will ever see it. |

My dream is that EA makes - MOH:back to the future Hell Activison could use the following as well for the same type of Call of Duty game.
- Public dedicated serversAnd for damn sake, MOH/CoD should be set back in WWII. Remember when everyone complained about too many WWII games, well guess what. There are too many damn modern/current combat games now!

I'll say it before someone else dose... you have just about described RO:2 Heroes of Stalingrad. Look how well that did?!?

Your right RO2 had most of that, do not think it has linux files. But the game play was not as solid in RO2 as other titles. I really wish RO2 had a objective mode like Search and Destroy with no re-spawning like COD.
I am not excited about the new MOH either, been there, done that. Nothing new in this title and the last MOH was disappointing for MP play. Again wish it had a search and destroy game type with no re-spawning. Ski |

You know, I don't think I'll buy another game that uses the Frostbite engine. Any version of it. It's tired and movement is just not up to snuff compared to COD's engine.
And I don't think I'll buy another COD game since that game engine should have been retired after COD:WaW. It's staler than week old toast. It's too bad that RO2 didn't play more like the COD type games. I applaud their effort, but the game just didn't pass muster with other new games. It's sad to say, but the best game engine for multiplayer infantry gaming is the Unreal 3 engine right now. Homefront had the smoothest gameplay since MOHAA. The support from Kaos just sucked and they killed the game with weak support, no anticheat (until it was too late) and constant drasticly manic tweaks. I'm not sure where this leaves me/us ... just longing for the thing we've been asking for since MOHAA. I want MOHAA with a decent engine and up to date graphics. That's pretty much what this is: Quote:

My thoughts on the "where it leaves us?" question....
I'll carry on playing BF:3 just as long as my clan m8's are playing it. I'm looking forward to ArmA:3 but I know that might just be me. Have a close look at the free 2 Play games as they come out. Firefall looks quite promising, Blacklight could work well as a clan game. As for the big buck AAA titles I'll take them on a case by case bases. Any game with MoH in the title will always be looked at closely. I liked Black Ops so I'll be interested in Black Ops:2. Then it's a case at looking at old games that still stand up well. I have a love for DoD:S although I'm not sure the guys in my clan are all that interested. We always said that if it wasn't for BF:3 we would have been playing RO:2-HoS. So if BF:3 loses it's shine then maybe we rent an RO:2 server and play that together... But returning to Warfighter, it's evolution not revolution. Top of my priority list is that it's not buggered up. It doesn't suffer some of the major screw up of old MoH games. Like Lag + performance issues (BT) terrible weapon unbalance (PA) Bad spawns + lack of server support (A) Hitbox issues and poor map design (2010) All I want is a smooth running game that doesn't make me feel like I have been raped in the wallet. So I guess that's were F2P comes in... |

That's the boat I'm in. Nothing compelling enough for me to consider either moh or the next cod - I will probably stick with the bf3 and it's dlc.
