Maybe give it a try with Administrator Rights. Maybe through your security settings or security tools the program is not able to open a port on the NIC.

I will have a look at it.

How do you extract the zip and how do you start the application from what location? The only difference between 0.2 and 0.3 concerning the startup is, that the protocols are loaded by reflection from the subfolder "Protocols"

Maybe sth. is wrong with your access rights to the folder you extracted the application to...

Does anybody also face this problem?

Hi.

Nope, v0.3 runs ok on my side.
I've tried it under 32Bit Vista-Ultimate.

The only thing i faced was that NIS poped up to warn about some unusual network bebavior and wanted to "clean" that process as their sonar had only
5 other occurances of your tool.

After that everything was fine.

The version has really enhanced!
I like the way players can be added and changed.

One wish because i try to simulate R24/25 null gid behavior of server to client would be to be able to space out the guid / replace it by a space. nice thing for testing this behavior is that your tool does not send onJoin events.

Wish number two..
the possibility to set a delay for the automated responses to commands.

Well, I have to admit I haven't looked at any documentation yet.
But it was very handy already.

Edit:
Oh.. one bug..
If you want to add a new player... hit the little card to get a new guid, enter a name and right after that click the plus sign, the player has no name. You need to click somerwhere else outside the player definitions after giving the name and the hit the plus to have the name set.

Greets
Phil.

Hey ... just added some settings which give the application full trust. Please have a try on this Build

Or try to check if the port 11000 is already in use. You can investigate by using "netstat -noa" command on windows console. There you can also find the PID of the process to kill it via TaskManager.

In my case I found an htc-Tool listening on this port.

It's recommend to have .NET 4 installed.
If you want to open the project in vs2010 you need to have vs2010 sp1 installed

Well I'm not making any use of it, just following the progress. Until now unittests and mocking/spying techniques are enough to test B3 ; but I'm sure some day this will come handy (and even more with next MoH)

Of course, mocking is a good way to test your application in the units defined. But many tools may not have an architecture, where unit testing is easy to implement.

with this "server" you are able to do some integration testing .. test your application in a whole ... not only parts of it.

thank you, I'm using your tool to test my new BattleRCON RCON tool together with a real server and I appreciate your work. However, I suggest you to write a more detailed wiki about the Script section
