Rush and Squad Rush ticket allocation

Hello guys, iīm totally confused since i found a bug in my YARCC app. How do you find out via serverInfo, wich team is defender or attacker and wich team is assigned for the ticket counter. I tried many constelations and i donīt getting into it

Hi.

On rush gamemodes the team with the smaller start ticket count (team 1)
is the attacking team. The defending team normaly starts with a very
high number (e.g. 999).

Taking the serverInfo the attacker team is alsways the first value given
back after the number of teams information.

Parsing the serverInfo information and trying to get into it:

OK

2 -> rounds total
2 -> tickets team 1
150 -> tickets team 2
1998 -> defending team cause of high number (here team 1)
0 -> attacking team cause of low number (here team 2)

Is that right?

or it might be:
2 -> tickets team 1
150 -> tickets team 2
1998 -> attacker team (team 1) cause of high number (here team 1)
0 -> defending team (team 2) cause of low number (here team 2)

Right.
The zero at the end of the team values is the goal to be reached to have defenders win before the time to achieve the objectives is running out.

Remember with rush defenders have two ways to win.
Succeed in protecting the objectives for a given time or kill all attackers
so that their tickets drop to 0.

Going off topic a bit here but... I've always wondered if something would happen if the defenders were killed 999 (or however many tickets they are allotted) times. Has anyone ever tried this?

Hi.

Hmm...
You can try and make it more easy but have defenders not to kill anyone by lowering the tickets with gameModeCounter set to 1%. For example on XP4_Quake it makes defenders have only 9 tickets while attackers have 1.
