Please allow max team size to be the same as max players

We ran into a BF3 roadblock. We implemented a PRoCon plugin that does a version of "Zombie Infection Mode" on Team Death Match, where one player starts the round as a zombie and the rest start as human. Any time a zombie kills a human, the human is moved to the zombie team and becomes a zombie. Zombies win by killing all humans.

I set up a 16 slot unranked server expecting to be able to have 15 humans (US) and 1 zombie (RU). No go, all moves fail when the target team has 8 players. The BF3 server seems to enforce max team size as exactly 1/2 of max players in TDM, even when autobalance is turned off. This means that we can only run the Zombie Mode with a max of 12 players (one half of max 24 for TDM "as designed").

So here's a wishlist request: when the server has autobalance turned off, please allow the max team size to be the same as the max player size.

I understand why you would like to have this - and it would suddenly make homemade team balancing plugins work properly on full servers - but that change is likely to cause too much ripple effects through other parts of the engine to be worthwhile.

it would also help if a team could have the size (serversize/2) + 1. so we could transfer the players one by one... if this would easyer to implement for you!?

But its really annoying that we cant do anything with the move command if the server is full

Allowing (serversize/2)+1 would be nearly as much work as allowing (serversize).

The least impact solution would be to implement a command for swapping two players. However, even that is out of scope. Sorry.

The communication is appreciated - even if it's not exactly what we want to hear.

I just kick one player to free a slot for moving. I even put, "for team balance, rejoin asap" in the kick reason to encourage them to come back.
