First I must apologize for being dumb on this matter but I think I'm missing some key piece to make my server work. I'm actually only the part-time admin.
I set up a DODS server on our game server. I put in maps that users wanted to play into the game and into a directory for others to download should the server switch to a map they do not have. Seeing as how CSS and DODS are the same coding per se, I verified I'm using the same link as CSS for DODS. Folder permissions are the same.
Now, if an admin switches to a map that we've added, nobody can download it and they get dropped by server. If you need file examples, please let me know which files.
----
Second issue is kicking/banning of admins/clan members for TKs etc. Is there a way to prevent certain IDs from being kicked? I'm running the Beetlefart mod beta for DODS now.
----
Last issue is kicking of AFK players. Sometimes, while playing, if a clan member goes to get a drink or whatnot, he'll come back to him being booted. I don't want this to happen. Again, is there a way to prevent this or to lengthen what is considered AFK time? Thanks.
I appreciate all the help I can get. Thanks.
