I have been scouring the web to find tools/mods/utilities for BF2 and came across another, the Battlefield Series Remote Server Manager http://www.bf2rcon.co.uk/.
Its been a while since i wrote the last program and with BF2 comming out and with the way our server is setup with MPUK we cant use rcon programs like BF2CC and BBO so I hads to write my own program for our clan so we could have a decent admin tool for our server.
I created this program as a result of BBO disappearing from the scene for a while and the fact that we can only use client side only server manager software. With the release of the BF1942 1.5 and 1.6 patches this made all current remote server manager programs useless.
So I set about looking how to do this myself and create my own remote sever program and here it is!
I would like to thank the guys over at the Linux Dedicated Server Forum (http://bf1942.lightcubed.com/forum/portal.php) for their help.
Also when adding Battlefield: Vietnam support to the program the guys over at KQuery (http://dev.kquery.com/) were great along with the Linux Guys with implementing the new GameSpy Protocol that Battlefield: Vietnam uses.
I have now since written a remote server manager for battlefield 2 which does not need anything on the server to be able to admin the server.
If you find this software useful could you be so kind and donate to me.
