Can someone post an example start up command line for a Win Dedicated BF2 server please?
If you read a little closer you will se my watchdog script (http://www.fpsadmin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9690) , that is basicly all you need ;)

There really isn't one. Just execute the exe and it will run with whatever settings you have in serversettings.con file.
You should really read dude, the script starts the game from command line so you should get your glasses on ;)
BoSBrian, sure there are, RTM ;)
Anyways if you cant read i'll type it for you :p
"C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2 Server\bf2_w32ded.exe" +config "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Battlefield 2\ServerConfigs\dg.con" +mapList "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Battlefield 2\ServerConfigs\_maplist.con"
in other words "path\to\bf2_w32ded.exe" +config "path\to\your\config.con" +maplist "path\to\your\maplist.con"

It's not necessary to use any command line options. If you execute bf2_w32ded.exe without options, it automatically loads serversettings.con and maplist.con from the mods/bf2/settings folder. Just modify those files to your desired settings.
That is all fine untill you have multiple configs and multiple servers running on one box.
I prefer to say exactly what files to use reather then to be confused because BF has config files in serveral places.
By default I think many players will make their configs with the the launcher (and that saves them in doc&settings folder of the user you where logged in as when you created them.
There are several ways to do this, do whatever suits you best :salute:
IMO it's better to specify the configs, that way there are no confusion about what files are in use.
Just my 2 cents
