This is very weird. I run the following commands in console to get rcon access then change the game type and the map:
/rconpassword XXXX
/g_gametype tdm
/map mp_caretan.bsp
What happens is it all loads up on my machine but the players that are in my server with me are still in the previous map and game type. Eeven if they disconnect and reconnect they end up at the previous map and game type. The server is hosted by a machine that I pay a host to run so it is not mine. What am I doing wrong here?? Can someone please help?
