Over at TMT they where talking about this. It may have been EA doing some tweaking with their login servers. It seems that at the end of every map you send data back to EA (stats/logs/whatever)
They said it cleared up after a bit. If it's still kicking drop a reply so we can try and track it.
Seems ppl still have problems.
When server change map's, ppl get booted from server. Some even say they get booted back to windows.
Could it be something with my serverconfig?
I have tested with both PB on and off.
I cant test myself atm, my HD started to make som weird noices. (typical) And descided not to boot anymore.
I see in the server log that ppl get dissconnected when server change map's

The linux files have this bug. As soon as a map changes or the round ends people will get kicked back to their desktop.
EA is working on new linux files to fix this problem.

There is also workaround for this now. Not thanks to EA though, :o but someone who took a deep look into the linux binaries:
1/ You will need shell access to the server or if you have FTP, look for the file in 2/
2/ Edit /<BF2 dir>/python/bf2/stats/endofround.py , with a text editor
3/ Stick a # in front of "host.gl_sendEndOfRoundData(dataString)"
4/ Restart - Tada!
This really does work, the only side effects is the stats shown whilst the map loads will be missing. But for the moment this will do I think.

Thanks Driel310 , The Linux admins will welcome this fix big time.
Please post comments to anyone trying this so we can pass the info on.

We know as we tried it on our rented server right after reading that workaround.
