OK,
I add the custom maps that are available for download on this site, i put them on my server. When it autodownloads the maps, i can go to other servers and not get kicked for having an unpure client. But when i manually put them in my "main" cod folder, i get unpure on all of the servers.
They are the SAME exact files, one instance is downloaded automatically, one is place manually in the SAME folder. So why im i getting unpure with one, and pure with the other?
What is the way to use custom maps without getting kicked for being unpure?
I'd really like to put the maps on my clan site for people to download, otherwise they have to sit and wait at 13kb/s plus everyone has to be reminded to cl_allowdownload 1 which is just a hassle.
