Effective immediately: All forfeit win points (for point based ladders) have been reduced to 50% win value. An additional 20% point value will be added automatically when a forfeit ultimately is still recorded provided an accepted change request has been submitted for the challenge. This will help us ensure that at least one attempt to play a match has been exhausted before simply recording a forfeit.
The Forfeit Request screen has been updated to reflect the amount of points you will receive for a win based on wether or not an accepted change request is on file for that challenge. It will inform you how many more points you would receive simply by attempting to reschedule the match and have it played.
If you have any questions at all regarding this matter please feel free to contact your game admins. The purpose of this change is to try and cut down on the number of forfeits that are being recorded and get back to playing as many matches as possible.
