I'm sure this has been answered before, i just couldn't find it. Our clan has a server in Europe that the server hosting company does not have a web control panel to stop/start the server. We have to ask them to start/stop the server for us. This is a PIA cause we are in TWL and we are always switching out configs, and exec'ing them does not completely remove remenents (i.e. when switching from a TWL config to our pub config, the server name will stay "TWL Match in Progress). It will only clear out the last config by doing a manual restart.
I can kill the server thru a remote /rcon with killserver, but how the heck do i get the server to restart. I tried /restart and all that mess, but it wouldn't work. Any ideas? Thanks.

There is basically nothing you can do to get it to restart. Your server hosting company needs to set up your server as a windows service or write a script to restart it if it is Linux.
As far as the name change goes, you should be able to issue a seta command instead of a set command and that should do the trick for you.

ahhh....ok, thats what i thought. Supposedly they are going to have the cpanel up by this weekend, guess we'll have to see. Our N. America portion of our clan uses Clanservers, and they have a cool little start/stop feature that you can use. Not quite a full cpanel, but you can give limited access to it for the jr. admins which is cool. Anyways, thanks for your help, preciate it.

Well unless they have customized cpanel, I am not sure how that is going to help you.
But since it is running cpanel, that tells me that it is on a linux platform. Ask the company for a login and password and then use something like Putty to log into the window. If they will not give you a login, then ...... I don't know what to tell ya.
