Hi. I`m in the clan from poland and my friend want to start server for my clan but hi got a linux!! how can I install a regular cd (windows version) on his linux?? Does someno how a linux installation version if you have please send it to me or give me a link .

Just go into the download section of codadmin and download the linux server 1.1d

http://www.codadmin.com/nuke/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownloaddetails&lid=39&ttitle=#dldetails

extract it and read the readme file ;-)

there they explain how to set up the linux file

-just have to copy some things of the windows cod cds and then run the linux server via the linux server 1.1d files...

but just read the readme... it will explain it to u :-D

Upload windows version of cod to your friends box, or your friend can upload it.

then upload the linux patch to the directory above the main subdir
make sure you re-name the "Main" folder to "main"
then type

cd /home/cod/ (change this for where cod is uploaded to)

tar –j -x -v -f cod-lnxded-1.1d.tar.bz2

For the run command ... this is what I use change for what is needed

./cod_lnxded +sets gamestartup \"`date +"%m-%d-%y %T "`\" +set dedicated 2 +set net_ip xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx +set fs_basepath /where/cod/is/installed/ +set fs_homepath /where/cod/is/installed/ +set ttycon 0 +set com_hunkMegs "64" +set com_zoneMegs 30 +exec server.cfg +map_rotate >/dev/null 2>&1 &
