For those of you running a CoD Linux server may already know about the icculus mailing list run by Ryan, the person Activision hired to port their dedicated server files to Linux. Here you will find, a lot of good up to date info.
What you may not know that you can view the list's archive here (http://icculus.org/cgi-bin/ezmlm/ezmlm-cgi?38)
For those of you not receiving this list and run a Linux server(s). I would recommend joining this list ASAP!
Here is a list of the command addresses supported:To subscribe to the list, send a blank message to:
cod-subscribe@icculus.org
Send mail to the following for info and FAQ for this list:
cod-info@icculus.org
cod-faq@icculus.org
To get messages 123 through 145 (a maximum of 100 per request), mail:
cod-get.123_145@icculus.org
To get an index with subject and author for messages 123-456, mail:
cod-index.123_456@icculus.org
To receive all messages with the same subject as message 12345, send an empty message to:
cod-thread.12345@icculus.org
The messages do not really need to be empty, but I will ignore their content. Only the ADDRESS you send to is important.
You can start a subscription for an alternate address, for example "john@host.domain", just add a hyphen and your address (with '=' instead of '@') after the command word:
cod-subscribe-john=host.domain@icculus.org
To stop subscription for this address, mail:
cod-unsubscribe-john=host.domain@icculus.org
