Our first 2 days of public play was perfect, but now the third day it started lagging on cassino again and we had to look what had changed...

Well, Mod = 1, were it used to be 0 all the time, how can this happen, or better yet, how can I turn it back off? We dont use mods...

Many thanks...

The only way it could have changed would have been that someone changed it through console "/rcon seta mod 1" or through the config and restarted it. I doubt it had changed itself. All you can do is change it back and if you have a log of the console or have rcon with anybody but you to tell them not to change it.

Ok, i done the 'seta mod 0' with rcon, after that i needed to load another map to let it kick in....

Thanks, guess ill blame the server admins (from the hosting company)...

Hope it won't happend again...

EDit: The console log only shows that cvar with value 0 from when I entered that in console, never before :s

Make sure that there is not a server.cfg file (assuming your cfg file is under a different name) in your UO directory on your server. If there is, UO will also run this config file and could change some of the cvars that you set.

Uhm, dedicated.cfg is in the UO folder, but aint that ok? Where else should it be?
