There's a rumour floating around (thanks Martijn) that a demo for Battlefield 2 featuring 2 map (Gulf of Oman and the Wetlands) will be available by the end of March. We already know that Battlefield 2 will be released by Electronic Arts in June, so a demo should ease the pain of waiting a few more months.
