Here is a partial list of "possible" weapons that is being bantyed around at the Call of Duty.org (http://www.callofduty.org.edgehosting.net/forums/) forums:

A Possible Weapons List

@@@@American Firearms@@@@

Colt M1911A1 ---- *Confirmed*
M3 (Grease Gun) ---- Not likely since its a cheaper replacement for Thompson
M1A1 (Thompson) ---- *Confirmed*
M1903 (Springfield) --- Not likely since Garand is in COD and is superior.
M1903A4 (with scope) --- Very likely to be the American sniper rifle
M1 (Garand) ---- *Confirmed*
M1 Carbine ---- *Confirmed*
M1918A2 BAR (Browning Automatic Rifle) ---- *Confirmed*

@@@@German Firearms@@@@

Luger (Pistole 08) ---- *Confirmed*
Walther P38 ---- Maybe since the Russians have 2 different pistols.
K98 (Karabiner Model 1898) ---- *Confirmed*
K98 with scope ---- Highly likely to be used by German snipers

MG42 (Maschinengewehr 42) ---- *Confirmed*
MG34 (Maschinengewehr 34) ---- Highly unlikely since MG42 is in COD

Enfield Number 2, Mark I ---- Very likely to be the British pistol
Webley Mark 4 ---- Enfield more likely.

you are welcome, Rudedog! I am hoping the realism of the game will not require a patch, but I did note that in the SP demo, the M1 Carbine has a 10 round clip, not the 15 that it should have, and the Thompson has a 20 round clip...which seems counter productive for an smg. It should be 30.

Most sticks carried by US GIs used 20 rounds because
they where heavy. Believe me I know. Here is a picture of my daughter at the range

per the FAQ at Machinegunbook (http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/index.php?act=ST&f=3&t=132&s=de5fea79f3bd2c71678860b4d9cf333b)

How many rounds do Thompson's hold?
Drum magazines will hold 10-39-50 & 100 rounds.
Stick magazines or Box magazines will hold either 20 rounds or 30 rounds.

I did find where the Thompson had 18, 20, and 30 round sticks. I also found on another site the complete loadout for Baker Company on D-Day. The thompson had 300 rounds at 15 sticks. So that would be 20 round sticks. Cool.
