Anyone know what death mod_trigger_hurt represents? :?:

Showing up in our stats and my players are bugging me to find out. I've searched through all the forums I can think of, but I got nuthin. It's some kind of suicide, but I dunno what.

Thanks!

Did some more digging in the logs... think I have it. Seems like it's drowning. When the death happens there are a series of instances of it and it happens in the only map in our rotation that has a place you can drown.

I did a quick search with Google for "death mod_trigger_hurt"... it looks like it has something to do with getting killed by a mine. Drowning has it's own: "mod_water"

I could be wrong.

In RTCW, mod_trigger_hurt was for damage from an item which has a trigger associated with it; such as barbed wire.

As CoD uses the RTCW engine for much of it's codebase, it's likely to conclude there is a parallel here.
