The Medal of Honor Competition Staff at Teamwarfare.com is thrilled to announce that in the next few weeks, 2 brand new MoH ''Retro'' Ladders will be opening for sign-ups. These ''Retro'' Ladders will finally revive competition for the Medal of Honor Allied Assault Expansion Packs.
There will be Spearhead and Breakthrough ladders once again!
The Ladders that are planned are:
MoH: SPEARHEAD TDM 4v4-
TDM is, by far, the most popular gametype that is still being played in pub servers. You know it, you love it, so it should come as no surprise that the rule set is the same. It is worth mentioning that the decision has been made to drop Reverend/Matchwatch and reinstitute sv_pure.
MoH: BREAKTHROUGH TDM 2v2-
Breakthrough players are a hardcore crowd. They loved the game when it was released, and nothing has stopped them from playing, not even ladder closings. Your voices have been heard and your ladder is back! The rules will be the same as before and the anti-cheat is sv_pure.
Does Malta conjure wistful memories for you? Maybe just a little? Remember going in solo and clearing out the sewers on Stadt? Do you miss sniping Allies from the Control Tower on Flughafen or 'nading the twit on the top of the sub in Druckkammern? Then get involved! Get ready to sign up for the new ladders, and start a discussion about other game types you miss. This could be just the beginning. If the community gets behind this, than other Spearhead & Breakthrough ladders could open.
The Spearhead and Breakthrough forums are back up again and there will be votes very soon for you to participate in. Even Allied Assault is getting with the program. There are votes up now in the MoH:AA Forum, including a Global Vote to import SH & BT maps for the TDM Ladder. There is even a New MoH:AA Objective League on the horizon.
