Does anyone have Private Slots working???????????

I want to find out if this is fixed or not. I have heard from some admins that its not yet EA tells me its fixed. Would you please report in this thread. If a few of you could test it and report the findings we will have something concrete.

The private slots do not work. If you activate private slots, when the second or third person joins the server, the server crashes.

I have helped 4 other PA admins with this same problem, in each case the same thing happened.

Pretty weird stuff going on with PA....

We have tried the private slots (after reading they still did'nt work) and on our server it does work? No crash... nothing...

The only downside of the private slots would be that some people dont seem to get the message and think they need a server password to play or something.

I dont know why EA made the little screen popping up for a private password in the first place... why bother the public players with it when they cant use it? The people allowed to use the private slots allready know the server has private slots?

Anyway... we are able to use private slots, no problems with it.

BTW.
We dont use punkbuster, so i dont know what happens when you turn PB on. It's nice when people report if the private slots are working or not but when there are some being able to and others are'nt you'll need to know how the server configuration is set up i guess...

Maybe it would be a good thing to know why it does'nt work on his server while it does work on ours ?

I also posted in the MOhTeam Forum about the Private Password message being confusing and no one replied.
I would like to get to the bottom of this and get as much input as possible from admins.

PunkBuster & Private slots results in a crash.

Punkbuster allso has a problem.. the console floods with the O/S exception notice.

Dont mind the Punkbuster exception, that one can be "solved" with the new pbsv.dll

I did notice that turning on punkbuster decreased performance, not sure if it was the server or my own pc though.
