Huh what is this????

Hi all,

Just got the game here in Holland (and yes we are always last to get it) and setting it up. Now i have a question about PB i already used it on Call of Duty, and i am surtain that there must be a file called pbsv.cfg, but i cant find it only a file called pbsv.dat. Is the name changed because www.punkbuster.com is not mentinoning it in their help file.

Question 2 are there people who have an good working file or is it possible to use the one from Call of Duty?? Because the last time i made this file it took about 2 days.... :rolleyes:

you can get the file that you are looking for buy typing

pb_writecfg in the console on the server.

The file is now called pbcl.cfg

The reason for the CL is that they have a PB error till they get it patched..

Let me expand that, the command you want to enter is pb_sv_writecfg that will create the default pbsv.cfg file. General rule, all pb_ commands are client side, all pb_sv_ are server side.

Thanks for the reply. Did this and rename it to pbsv.cfg. After this i just copied everything from punkbuster site (docu) in here and created from here. i have it running now.

Also,

if you are admin of a server, it is best to get it streaming www.punksbusted.com

the more servers that are streaming data to MBL, the better as it means they have less places to go and play.
