Dedicated server with the patch

Seems this game isnt whoring the CPU anymore from what i read here. If anyone has issues plz post. Gonna wait a day or two b4 i upload the 4 gigs. I hope it's all good but still dread uploading 4 gigs lol.
Looking forward to testing the patch client side if i get some time tommorow. :D

Suggestion before you upload your files.

.RAR them you'll save yourself a great deal of time uploading. I also read a post somewhere (mohadmin I think) that there are two .rez files you can remove from your upload which will drop you total un-.rar'd file size a whole 1GB. I know I read it and I believe it was information from an EA dev, I just dont have time to go find it.

You know you have a problem when gaming doesnt effect your work but work effects your gaming.

also, I would try leaving out pak2.rez and pak4.rez. See the other post in here... somewhere....

Anyone use colo4dallas? Or would be interested in uploading this for me from their dedicated server, if you have the bandwidth, or let us dl it to our server? Sounds odd, but i would return the favor. :) Kinda like how P2P networks get going. :rolleyes:
