I know that there were many things that were not quite right with the game prior to the patch....and the EA dev team probably took some serious blows to their professional egos when the MOH community received PA with less-than positive results. To put THAT much work into a project and have us all b*tch about how f*cked-up it is must really suck.
However....it seems the tides have turned, Batman.
We haven't tested it fully, but I have to say that from what we've seen, the patch has taken away nearly any reason to complain about the game. -There are, of course, things that still could be better, and hopefully there were lessons learned for the next release, but for the most part I'd say they have done an excellent job in fixing the obvious problems....and it was done in record time, too!
Hopefully, I'm not the only one who sees what they did as impressive.
Nice work, lads!

well said, Hambrgr_Helpr
Not that I have had a chance to play with the patch that much as real life keeps getting in the way of things.

Thanks for the Solid Patch EALA, and thanks to MoHTeam members for taking the time and effort to relay community issues to the development team and back to the community.
Much Appericated.
Would also like to add to the statements of praise for this patch, the game has gone from unplayable for many to playable and fun for a lot of folks, went in my server this morning and the comments from people playing were all great and the server filled up really quickly. Not to mention server CPU utiliazation is now totally acceptable. I also note that gaming leagues are working towards getting up ladders asap for competition. Hats off to EALA and TKO for getting this patch together, tested and out so quickly. ;)

I can say "You're welcome" on behalf of TKO. I'm sure EA feels the same way. We're still working hard on patch2 and demo2 (with a new map for the community). I'm glad to hear that the first patch seems to have addressed a lot of issues for many people. Hopefully the next patch (with lots of little tweaks), will clear up any remaining problems.

More props to chiknbake! you have been around a lot forums trying to help peeps out. Get some sleep man. To bad more folks from EA and TKO don't communicate on the forums like you.
Demo2 is gonna be pretty important. GL and hope you devs get some sleep soon. Sue EA! :)
