Where (when) are you getting this error? After you connect to a PB-enabled server? Is it kicking you? What's happening when you get the error, and are you able to continue playing?
What OS did you say you had? This is on a client, not a server, right?

My server has this as well, but it doesn't seem to affect the game any. Makes getting any console info from the server a real PITA

same with my server, constantly rolling this message all the way up and as you said it makes getting any console info a pain! Hope someone has an idea to stop this random spammage in the dedicated server console

Hey Hambrgr_Helpr,
Thanks for posting although that fix clearly states it is not for the server, where I see this message is on the server console for my dedicated server box in Texas which is a Windows 2003 setup.

I "clearly" understood the fact that you were talking about errors seen in the dedicated server console. I wrote the fix...and understand how it is used and what it does.
-Just trying to help ya.

Sorry I was just confused by the fact that it says specficially in the fix post you linked us to, it states this was to be done clientside only and not server side. Will give it a go , thanks for your help Hambrgr_Helpr

direct from PB
This is a known issue, we don't know why, but the client is running on the server..and that is whay is erroring, not the server. We have this fixed already, and should be releaseing the update soon.

This came from Evenbalance:
http://www.evenbalance.com/downloads/mohpa/pbsv.dll
Download the dll and replace your current pbsv.dll with this one. Next, rename your pbcl.dll to pbcl-backup.dll
Do when you server is not running, and then restart the ded server.
Worked for me :)

the reason why this is helping, is that pb will be disablet with that file.
Not good

I got the same reply from evenbalance. It did not disable my pb. all client commands do not work but all server commands do work. I set up pb to take ss on it's own to see if it was disabled and it took them without a problem. So the fix does work.
This is only a temp fix for it.

I highly recommend that you back up the PB folder before replacing files. If anything goes wrong, you would need to reinstall the entire game to get the PB folder back to normal. The PunkBuster Client should NOT be running on the dedicated server, not sure why it was, but it is not needed, and in many cases, is causing errors.
