I'm trying to setup our MOHPA server (after 2+ days of uploading :mad: )

Seems to be running fine, and I can see the server in the in-game browser, but if I try to connect I get an error saying "Timeout Server is not responding"

If I connect directly to the IP everything is fine and I connect right away.

No firewalls

I think I've found my problem.

I'm running the server as a service. If I start it normally it works fine. :confused:

Why can't I run this game as a service????

Good question I have the same problem. Im using fire daemon 1.7 .

I've tried Fire Daemon and GamePanel to create the service. Both with the same results.

I found the problem. I got rid of : set net_ip 69.93.146.54 and it works. For some unknown reason it doesnt let you set the net ip address manualy. :confused: I dont like that at all. :mad:

Not sure if it is like the old MOH, but I was able to set the IP in the config file.

Can you show us an example? If you did it that way im still not sure it would set it as the ip you chose or if it would select it itself anyhow.

Setting the IP in the config DOES NOT set your game IP. That's a bug and it will hopefully be corrected in a patch.

I set my IP in the config, but it still took the first IP in my IP range. (64.247.18.138)

You can set your ip, but it has to be done in the command line and not in the config.

However, because of a bug, the server still reports to gamespy the first IP in your range. So, if you set your IP in the command line you'll be able to connect to your server only via direct IP connect, and not through the in-game browser.

Got an update for you guys for the set net_ip. Apparently there were bugs with it, which have now been addressed in the patch.
