Why the old Q3 engine for Demo instead of new engine?????

It's the new engine, MOHtech.

Remember that this engine used the Q3 engine for it's foundation. They have replaced/rebuilt/added 99% to make it MOHTech.

It uses rez files instead of pk3. They are packed differently thus you need new tools, which will be available when the game ships.

Rcon and administrations is almost the same with some changes here and there. They tried to keep the command similar to the old q3(moh) based commands.

thanks I thought you might know. Also did you play this level at EA community day and if so do they look the same?

Yes, it's a bit different, looks like some of the objects are new. We also did not get a chance to use all the weapons. They where not ready at our preview.

To really be honest, I have only played this demo for about 10 minutes total sense it's release on Friday.

I have been tinkering with the dedicated server more then playing LOL.

Can't seem to get my MOTD working....
