If this doesn't belong here please remove it and place it where it does.
This guy is going around crashing servers via mass name flooding, he fills all the players slots.
So I traced his ip 67.81.159.88 to his ISP.

I contacted the server crashers ISP :
Optimum Online
1111 Stewart Avenue
Bethpage, New York 11714
or alternatively by calling Optimum Online at (516) 390-9018. I live in ny so I called them and talked to them. I gave them the IP 67.81.159.88, all they needed was the 67 to confirm that it is one of their customers. They told me to contact abuse@cv.net and send all info concerning his server crashing to them and they will see about shutting him down. I am sending them an email with screen shots. I am also explaining to them that I pay to rent the server box that he is crashing. Maybe you can let others know who to contact to try to stop this guy.

Thanks,

Good job!!!
You also need to send this info to your server host, they will be greatly interested in this too. This is how server hosts make a living and these guys are disrupting it. These kiddies have crossed the line from spawning objects or abusing glitches to actual Denial of Service and they dont realize the consequences.

Heres some info from the US-CERT site:

A "denial-of-service" attack is characterized by an explicit attempt by attackers to prevent legitimate users of a service from using that service. Examples include:

- attempts to "flood" a network, thereby preventing legitimate network traffic
- attempts to disrupt connections between two machines, thereby preventing access to a service
- attempts to prevent a particular individual from accessing a service
- attempts to disrupt service to a specific system or person

Many organizations can suffer financial loss as a result of a denial-of-service attack and may wish to pursue criminal or civil charges against the intruder. U.S. sites interested in an investigation of a denial-of-service attack can contact their local FBI field office for guidance and information.

The funniest part is that they leave "Fingerprints", their IP address.....lol. :D

They were the first ones I contacted upon learning this information. I figured the more people who email his ISP the more attention it will get.

Nice to see that ISP's are interested in stopping their customers from using malacious methods in games. Honestly, that's great.
