Yesterday, MOHTeam members received an email, letting us know the demo was very close (by the end of the week). They also provided us with recommended system specs for the demo.
Medal of Honor : Pacific Assault Single player Demo
This is a single player demo
This will be the Henderson Field level. (Think E3)
System specs are below:
RECOMMENDED CONFIGURATION

Windows XP
2.0+ GHz Intel Pentium IV or AMD Athlon processor
512 MB RAM
ATI or Nvidia card with 128+ MB video memory
Here's a great excuse for anyone looking to upgrade! That's all for now. I'll send out more as I get it.

ah, just saw this on planetmedalofhonor.com

It is with regret that I must announce that the MOHPA SP Demo release is postponed and is planned for release in a couple weeks. Unfortunately, I can't go into more details than this at this time. I apologize for the start & stop as I was really looking forward to releasing the demo, but can say with confidence that I know you'll be impressed when you get a chance to play it for yourselves.

wow... those are some crazy config recommendations!

my system is almost on par with those recommendations... only difference is the fact that i have a Pentium 4 3.0 GHz; otherwise, everything else is the same :o

oh well, time for an upgrade! :D

from what we are told, they are trying to enhance the MP network code to be better then all past MOHx titles.

hallelujah!

hopefully the net code will be even better than MOHAA or Spearhead... that, on it's own, would be quite an accomplishment

those are pretty high system requirments for me. even compared to far cry the system requirements are high!

keep in mind guys, those are the recommended system requirements, not the minimum. That's what the EA team suggests you play the game on for a great performance expirence. The minimum is probably 1.3Ghz Processor, 256MB of RAM, and a 64MB Vid Card.

Just a little heads up b4 I get some sleep, damn red eye

Not minimume requirements, but what we used to play MOHPA on. They had Dell boxes with 3.4's 1gig or ram and ATI 9800XTs.

Things looks awesome and wait till you see the water effects. We should be getting our SSs beginning of next week and will post as many as we get back. Each member was able to capture his own SS and save them. EA is going to go through them and take out anything that doesn't meet their standard.

Sadly no, we don't. The good news is EA wants to really get it right. The extra time should go along way towards improving the quality of what comes out. The bad news is we are left to salivate a little longer. Since they are still enhancing the game, it makes sense to hold off on the demo. They want the demo to really reflect the quality of the final game. Since the game is pushed back to Nov, I personally would not expect a demo any time soon - but when it does come out, it will hopefully knock our socks off and convince us the game is worth the money. Having had to go back on one release date, I suspect EA is going to be really touchy about announcing dates that are not rock solid. (think HL2, how long ago was that suppossed to be released?)

The funny thing is and I apologize for this was I did not even ask when the demo was going to be released.

I also did not hear anyone else ask this in our open presentations we where given. I think we where all blinded by everything else going on and totally forgot to ask.

We all did one on one video interviews with producers of MOHPA, someone may have asked in there but I do not know for sure.

Its was on my list of questions but I had to cut my questions short due to time.

I dont know if we would have got a solid answer or not. The new feature did not seem to be the hold up as it was working fine for me.
