Retrieve Rcon Password

is there anyother way to get my rconpassword without going into the config file? is there a way to retrieve it from the console in MOHAAS? ANY WAY TO RETRIEVE IT FROM THE GAME?

If you can get on the server Console type: rconpassword and <Enter>. It will tell you what it is.

That also works for any other cvar. Of course once you have rconpassword, you can do the same thing using rcon on a server.

i tried to type rconpassword into the server and it did not work at all :( this is what is said... rconpassword is: "default"

maybe i should add something else....i do not have the server settings setup on my computer....it is on a friend's we are paying for the server together....my friend is currently out of town and i do not have access to his computer to look up the config file...i also do not have any way to get a hold of him...basically in short all i do is type rconpassword xxx and i have console...so a new question...

is there a way for me to retrieve the rconpassword since i do not have the server setup on my computer....hope this makes sense

What would be the point of having a rconpassword that anyone could access? That wouldn't be very secure now would it? :rolleyes:

The answer is no. If you don't have direct access to the server, you can not get the rconpassword.
