Default Gametype?

My server seems to only want to run RE maps on mapchange. I don't see any information anywhere about setting a default gametype - Is there a way? Or is it always random\ or RE?

I added the line seta g_gametype tdm to my server.cfg just for the hell of it, it didn't seem to do any good :mrgreen:

gametype can also be controlled by the map list. If all the maps are set to gametype re, then it won't matter what you set the sv_gametype to, it will always resolve to the map specified gametype.

I had a similar problem tonight. I have a cfg file that has all TDM maps, rotation is on and it has sv_gametype set to TDM..

But tonight when I loaded it, it would do the first map in TDM, then the next would be S&D.. I would change it through rcon and reload the map.. when the next map loaded it would go back to S&D.

I FTP'd in and took a look at my cfg and it all looks good.
