Error msg when starting server

SV_FindIndex: overflow error (max=512) when creating "sound/weapons/impact/wpn_impglass05.wav0"

This is the error when i try to start a server, the maps start to load then it bounces me back to the desktop.


This is after I installed =rtr= hudmod add on


Any ideas?

Might just be easier to remove that mod and find another than to try and fix it.

This may also signal you have hit the glass ceiling in custom maps, skins, etc. The game has a limit built in on how much stuff it will cache and track for use during the game. I would dump all Pk3s (you can just rename them to zip files if you prefer) for maps, mods, or skins you no longer really use. Then restart the server. That could do the trick as well.

I have been running maps for redsbox, when those maps are deleted rom the folder the server runs fine. Insert them back and the error reoccurs, so they are not inserted and we are ok! Just need to find other sources of maps.

We run Redsbox maps and havent had a problem. I suspect its a conflict with another mod you have.
