change weapon

Hi
I want to Change the kar98 with the m1 garant so both sides have the same gun.
I tried to mod the weapon but this is not a good idea since it does not work realy good.
Maybe i can change the weapon for a special model or something like that.
hope someone can tell me.

That is a modding question, and a little more advanced than what I can help with. You might want to try the modtheater.com forums, as this kind of thing is more in their area.

hm.. i will try something new - i read many things at tmt forums about scripting.

not the same,but you can spawn the KAR98 in various places,pretty simple to do,i also believe there is a mod that gives both sides the same weapons,but i think it's for MOHAA,i'll see if i can find it.
