ssh session terminated?

i keep getting this error trying to access the log file on my linux box.
now i am not quite sure how to setup the log file command. .

for now i am trying "pico /director/of/game/loghere.log" cuz im using freebsd.

could not having that right terminate the ssh session you think?
what exactly am I "missing out on" if i dont use the log file?

does pico show new lines in the file if there are some ?
I dont think so.

"tail -f" as command can do that. You also should check your timeout settings for the logfile (ServerWatch Ini file )

thanks for the input, im not exactly a linux-buff so im not really friendly with the commands. . ill give it a try. :lol:
