PRM 3.0 Beta Released!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not publically though. I have released the mod to a few server admins(Programmer, get in touch with me if you read this), atm PRM 3.0 beta is on these servers, for one or two days. They will be running it publically, and report any bugs/glitches back to me. If none, we will release. If any, we will fix them, re-do this with same server's, then if no bugs, release.
[1stSF/SS] Tactical/Realism_PRM = 63.218.48.62
CodAdmin_PRM = 69.44.60.37:28961
[9thSF] (Not sure of full name :P) = 69.44.60.90:28980
COD.MCGAMERS.COM #2 PRM SD = 69.41.230.228:28960
There will be one or two more server's added to the list, will post them when gotten.

Straight from READ ME:
****Updates=2.0-3.0****
-We have modified the bleeding mod
-When a player is shot in the hand/arm, they drop the weapon they are holding
-Adjustments to Hud(all works now)
-HLCRcon ingame control for PRM will be in full ver, not beta
-Gametypes RSD, OBJ, and RB are now in PRM
Also from READ ME on the bleeding mod:
-Bleeding Mod:
When a player recieves any amount of damage, they will lose health accordingly to that. Basically, the more health you lose from the original damage, the more you bleed. In example, you will bleed more from a B.A.R. wound than a Colt wound. Bleeding eventually stops, and you can now die from bleeding, unlike the previous ver of it in 2.0.

How about a method for installation?
Are we to use the fs_game method, or main? Is there a suggested method?
What about sv_pure and sv_allowdownload?

Don't use the fs_game method, people will only be able to connect once then will get a "Impure client".
The above is what happens if you have your server set to Pure, if it is not pure then you can use the fs_game method.
If you want your server Pure then just put the pk3 in the main dorectory.

Hey Pool, beta 3 runs pretty well w/ RSD. Weapon restrictions on snipers gets 'sticky' (if normally not allowed, executing command during game makes it appear in weapons select screen, but can't be selected), and bleeding doesn't seem to work on my server. Could just be a conflict w/ an RSD setting? Can we reduce the grenade damage area?
Otherwise, gameplay speed is nice, weapon physics are nice (that BAR is a railgun!) and overall it's a great combo w/ RSD!
You guys, go check it out...

Well, we have gotten a long ways now, so far that it's a 3.0, instead of 2.1 as I'm sure everyone knows already anyway :p
So far new features that have yet to be discussed are basically just added team balancer, just till patch comes in, and we also have a few very very nice little features, which we will say in a bit, once they are tweaked to perfection. One is a TK thing, where at <set number of TK's> it warns you, and then at <set number of TK's>. So in example, at 2 tk's you will be warned, 4 you will be kicked. Still needs some work, but it is being fixed, just a minor problem w/ kicking that needs tweaking. We will hopefully be adding in some more neato features, and then realease, and the release will definitely be either before or on X-Mass.
Also, we are working on some major big changes on PRM the moment the patch is released. So look for some mighty big changes in PRM a few weeks after patche's release, good changes :D :D :D

Thanks for the update Pool! I really enjoy your realism, especially 3.0...we all can't wait for the beta release. Intergrating the kick option in the realism mod is a great idea. I just hope theres no conflicts with any dedicated server scanners. Then again, if you turn the value off it shouldn't matter. These are great times we play in my friends. :!:

Always good to hear
By the way, every server admin out there that has experienced the spawning in walls on SD w/ 2.0, plz post your server's info, how many slots, linux or windows, etc... Been tryiong to find the cause of this, no answer yet :(
I've had that problem as well. I think it may be in the _extraspawnpoints file somewhere

However this happens wether there are 3 players or 30. The only place that it may be occuring is the _extraspawnpoints file that comes with your mod. It happens on Carentan and Dawnville for the most part. Pavlov, Harbor and Depot on occasion as well. Cant wait for the next release and to have a working RSD mod built in.

Hrmmm. Well we think it is the extraspawns, or the mapspawns(something like that). Not in the beta, so far it's working.

Should add a PRM in there m8 ;) I dont care to much myself, but my guys love seein it in server names, plus server's w/ PRM in them are looked for, and usually full
Ill see what I can do. Might as well provide credit for great work. If your looking for another server to test the 3.0 beta on, we would like to help. Drop me a line at admiralman2@yahoo.ca if you need the help.

Atm it prolly will be a no, cause we have way more servers w/ it than we wanted. We only wanted like 4 or 5 at most, we have like 20, and thats the only confirmed one's. When and if we need testing, I'll keep your addy handy :!:

oops.. srry Cobra- yes, it was the catch-gamers server.
I do have the 2.0 version that we are going to load to the server tonight. Just wondering of 3.0 is ready to use.
One other question... and I guess you can't answer this until the patch is released. After the patch, will these realism mods need to be updated?

Still looking for 3.0, Poolie. If the usual sites have it, they are sure hiding it. Can you email it to me?

Look at codfiles tommorrow.
And yes, an update will be coming shortly after the patch's release. Since their will be new updated ver of the current gametype's, everything will need to be re-done. Besides, we already have new things we want to add, just don't have the time.

I know it's in their mail, I was told so, but the guy who told me wasn't a file-poster, so he can't do anything about it :(
Should be up very soon though, will post when it is.
