I have had to stop using Delator due to a conflict with my vstr map rotation. We already have one clan member who uses CI to monitor the server (CI is installed on the server), but I would like to do it when he is not around. I downloaded and installed CI Remote and entered my server info (IP Address and PW) and I repeatedly get this error:

"An error was detected during Connect. Close program and reopen
Verify a valid IP and Password"

All my information is correct, and it is the same info I had input into Delator and AutoKick (both of which connected and ran just fine). Anyone have any ideas why this error comes up? I've tried installing the program and connecting from different computers and the error always comes up. My clan member buddy runs it from his PC and gets no error. I'm confused. Anyone with CI experience please chime in.

Thanks,
R_W :x

First, in order to use the CI Remotes someone needs to setup the main CI program with the necessary info. On the main CI program you can configure up to 5 Remotes to connect. Each will utilize a different port. When you setup your Remote on your client it asks for an IP and a Password, the Password is the Port number you assigned on the main CI NOT the server password.

Now it makes sense. Would've been good if my buddy who set the server CI side up would have read the manual that told him that. Let me figure out how I'm gonna walk after I break my foot off in his ass--LOL.
