Firstly I can't find the games_mp.log file any where do I have to request the server create one if so how?
Edit
Ok I have managed to find out how you request the server to create one but it still doesn't seem to show up..? Why?
Secondly at the moment to access the server via ftp I have to connect to the internet directly instead of via my router. Is there a way of fooling the server so it reads my IP rather than the DHCP? or do I need to tell the host to allow that IP to access the server?
Edit
Sorry another question, is anyone having trouble reading the text in the debug window or any text that is send back from the server? Any fixes?
Thanks
BK

is your server remotely located or is it on your network?

Do you run a linux server then ?
Is the text so small that you hardly can read it ?
The server should allways read your external IP.
As long as you are not in your own LAN with the router to the server.
then it should fine it own way just by ip internal.
But i dont know if your server are at your own place or a rental in the internet.

Yeah the CoD server is Linux and the text is too small to be able to read it, I can copy and past it into a notepad or word document and its fine but I don't want to keep having to do that if I can help it. Is there a way round it?
The server is external to the lan, rented from e-frag.co.uk which is why I was supprised that it said it would not allow a connection to the DCHP and only to the IP address?

Well here we need ENforcer to take a look at your problem.
I had the same problem some time ago with the text.
But i reinstalled my windows and it was good after that.
So i do not know that made it happen at my place the time i got the smal text.

When I was testing this tool using a windows server mine did the same thing.. it was a green screen with just lines on it.. where I'm sure there was supposed to be text. I don't know if running 1024x768 is the problem and that's why the font was so small or I thought maybe my system didnt recognize the font or something.. don't know, but since I had other problems with the tool I never did really get to dealing with this issue.

I cant really help you with that problem. I can make the font changabe in the next version for now i can tell you what font i choose.
Font type: Terminal
Size: 8
well im working on one computer with 1280x1024 and on the other with 1600x1200 and no problems to read.
Good Luck
Enforcer
PS: maybe you should test your terminal font in an other application

About the other questions:
Im not sure if i understand them totally but what you need is gave Serverwatch access to the game logfile. (you can also disable it by choosing no qconsole.log but that will disable some features)
So your pc where you run ServerWatch at must be allowed to:
Access the game server with rcon (udp requests at game querry port)
and if you want
Access your ftp server (if you want to use ftp to get the logfile).
you tested passive mode already ? If you are behind a router that must be marked unless your router is doing connection tracking for ftp

Ok the server still doesn't seem to want to create or write to games_mp.log but I can get ServerWatch to connect to it fine.
The text in the debug screen is still too small to read even though I have tried changing resolution.
I'm running out of ideas anyone help?

The path for games_mp.log is in the main directory and mines did recreate itself when it was downloaded. If you are trying to link it browse into your servers mainta and select games_mp.log whether or not its created and see what happens.
