Linux dedicated help me

Where is the config file for the linux dedicated. Im pretty new to linux but ive got the COD server up and running i can join it and everything. Cant find the config file to change a few settings

i tried running it with +exec mymadeupconfig.cfg but it just says "could not execute mymadeupconfig.cfg"

The config you use for the dedicated server must be in the "main" directory.
