Command Line For Linux

Hello, i just went from a windows server to linux, what is a good command line for a linux server, also i have a dedicated box with 10 ips, how do i change my ips for different servers? with moh windows i think it was +set net_ip "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" what is it for linux, thanks again
