Need Help With MAM

Okay, I downloaded MAM 2.1.1. I unzipped the zipped file. There are a bunch of pk3 files and a bunch of cfg files. I only want to use MAM to send out timed server messages, so I'm guessing I don't need to put all those files on the server-maybe just the MOHAdmin cfg and the MOHAdmin pk3? I just want to send messages not use the rest of the stuff, exactly what files do I need to put on the server and where? I can handle editing the message text and all that, I just need to know what to put where JUST TO TIME MESSAGE on the server. I'm running a BT server, so I'm assuming this will work with BT. It seems like a nice program with a lot of flexibility, but it's freaking complicated to set up (at least it looks that way to me). Would appreciate current MAM users to chime in with some help.

Isn't MAM a stand-alone program? What is Total Control? How many components does that damn thing have? No wonder people I have spoken to are leery of using it--have to get a degree in coding to use it.
