Usable Weapon Racks

Has anyone played on a server that had weapon racks at map locations where players could actually pick up and use the weapons on the rack? Someone told me they played on a server using this mod, and that the removed weapons would "reappear" on the rack so the rack was never truly depleted. This would be a cool mod to run, but (1) I've never seen or heard of it and, (2) is it a mod that can be downloaded and run (like altered, server-side mods for maps) or do the individual map scripts need individual modding? Don't know much about mapping, so excuse my ignorance. Any info on such a mod (where to get it, how it works) would be appreciated.

Each map would need a mod to tell the map where to put the racks. This can be done using a single pk3 that includes modified files with the instructions to spawn in the racks at start up. I recall an earlier thread on this subject and believe they got it working. You might try searching the forum for rack.
