Hello Everyone,
Sorry for coming out with an update so fast, but there were a few things bugging the hell out of me about the first version. So I busted on it this weekend and went through 2 update testings.
The final version allows access to the RCON Menu all the time, not just while you are alive. It's accessible from the Main menu, while you are connected to a server or not. It also has:
-Increased support for Clientkick up to 34 clients;
-on/off control for FG42;
-Cleaned-up interface and buttons;
-while connected to a server, each menu has a "BACK TO GAME" button that closes all menus and returns you to the game. Buttons not available if you're not connected;
-No longer uses QUICKMESSAGES menu.
Here are just a few screenshots:

I just uploaded it to this site.
Great !!!
I don't knwo if it is the final version but if you want to bring some update, here is my ideas :
* to bring color (for the guns menu) for what is On and what is Off !
* Why not mix the quickmessage (friendly fire is on when you click on the command )
ex :
- set scr_friendlyfire "1"; rcon "Take care , Friendly Fire is now ON !"
- set scr_friendlyfire "0"; rcon "Take care , Friendly Fire is now OFF !"
(I mean, the quickmessage , that s the thing to make 2 times the same thing than we can make it once as said behing)
But as I said before ! That s already a great job like that !
Thx for all the admins ! like me

This is a great tool with some great features. But, I'm not comfortable w/ allowing its download to clients. Since this is technically a mod, and all of my servers have server-side mods, this little gem gets sent along with the other items. I know that it's useless w/o the RCON pw, and that they could just DL it from here, but I'd like to keep from firing it to the clients. Any suggestions?

Suggestion: Don't upload it to the server! :!:
It should work fine as a client-side-only mod, even on a PURE server. (don't ask me why, it just seems to be ok)

great admin tool holy moses, having problems getting it to work though, everything look fine, but it wont allow me to make changes.. our server is pure, so that might be the prob. Also, do ya have to enter the RCON pw everytime you start the game?

Thanks Da_Bears! :!:
Vortex:
You want to double check that the HLCRCON.CFG file is saved into your client \MAIN directory, and that you've entered the RCONPASSWORD in that file. Then make sure it is being exec'd properly from the desktop shortcut for Call of Duty Multiplayer.
The "pure" setting, if anything, would just boot you out. But it seems to be working on pure servers, even without loading it to the server itself. So i don't think that's the issue.
I tend to think it's not exec'ing your .cfg file properly, or you've forgotten to put your server's rconpassword in there. Check on it and let me know!

BLUEGUM:
Two things:
1) Download version 3.0;
2) There was a typo in the readme.txt file for version 1.1. Your shortcut string is incorrect:
Should read:
+exec HLCRCON.CFG
and NOT +exec HLCRON.CFG
This will correct your problems!

p.s. The readme.txt file was updated and proofread for version 3.0

Holy Moses,
thanks a bunch! :!: Downloaded V3.0 and it works like a charm!! Quick question tho, when using the client kick feature, how do you know which person you're kicking (i.e. 01, 02, 03, etc.)?

Works similar to using the clientkick in MOHAA: Click the Server Status button, pull down the console and determine the client # of the idiot who's disrupting your guests' gaming experience. Then just click on his client # in the Client Kick section, and BANG! He's Ouuuuuuttta here!~
Next version will include a better interface!

It seems to be an okay tool :!: I even added my own message: "Bunnies and Skippies will get kicked" :twisted:
I'll go test it around......
But it would be great if i could bring down the HLC-rcon-screen with just one button. For example "p" would bring up the screen where i immediatly can choose for Rconcommands, Mapcontrol, broadcast Messages, WeaponControl. :wink:

Benman:
I tried, OH BELIEVE ME, I tried. I corresponded with IW about it, and they informed me the only way that was going to happen is if they A) released the source code and then i could script it, or B)they scripted it into the patch. (neither of which do I think are likely to happen).
As it stands, version 3.1 will maintain access through the MAIN menu via the HLC RCON MENU option, but will also re-introduce the access through the QUICKMESSAGE window, which is usually bound to the "V" key.
Thanks!

This is the best thing to happen for CoD. Too bad Activision didn't think of it. :wink:

I had to go back to version 2.
I dont like having to go to the main window to kick someone or to change maps or what have you. It kinda defeats the purpose. If I was to do all the I would just as soon pull the console down and manually type it. Can't wait till the next version comes out so you include it back into the quick commands window when pressing V :)

I got a couple guys that are excellent team mates but when you start talking rcon commands they get a glassy look in their eye.. this tool will be great for them.. great job.
I tested it in our pure server, running just on my own system.. worked like a charm.
